Val Davis started Rockbridge Sound after moving to the area from Vermont where he DJed hundreds of weddings over 25 years.

Rockbridge Sound can provide sound and lighting for your wedding (including venue uplighting) or live sound for concerts, presentations and shows.

Val Davis is also a guitarist and can provide live acoustic music for your ceremony as he has done for many brides and grooms.

Rockbridge Sound is owned and operated by Val Davis. Val started in broadcast at 14 years of age in 1974. During the 1980s he began DJing at night clubs in Houston TX. where he worked in both radio and television. He DJed for club owners McFadden/Kendricks in some of Houston’s largest and most successful night clubs. During this time he received inquiries asking if he would DJ private events. Val DJed his first wedding in Houston in 1982 and has been providing music and entertainment services since then.Val is currently the General Manager for First Media LLC which owns 96.7FM 3WZ and 100.3FM Big Dawg Country. He usually provides DJ Services or entertainment for between 25 and 40 events per year. He also performs live music as he sings and plays guitar.
